Dua Lipa Live in Malaysia: The Concert of a Lifetime!

When Le Monsieur and I first caught wind that Dua Lipa was bringing her tour to Malaysia, we weren’t sure we’d make it. Life had thrown a few curveballs, and with finances tight, attending the concert seemed like a distant dream.

Fast forward to November, and we kicked off the month on a high note with Ne-Yo’s concert. It reignited the spark we’d been suppressing all year! Around the same time, contests centered around “Dua Lipa Live In Malaysia” show started popping up everywhere. Some offered official merch, while others dangled the ultimate prize: coveted concert tickets. Being the self-proclaimed “contest pros” we are, Le Monsieur and I couldn’t resist. Armed with catchy slogans and boundless creativity, we dived headfirst into every contest we could find.

Days passed, and guess what? Le Monsieur outdid me! (A fact he didn’t let me forget.) His slogans were a hit, and he scored not just tickets but some awesome Dua merch too. Was I a little jealous? Absolutely. My inner competitor took a mild bruising. But hey, what’s his is mine, right? Sharing is caring! 😂

As the concert day approached, excitement hit a fever pitch. We’d been looping Dua’s 2024 setlist nonstop—whether in the car, at home, or through our separate streaming accounts. Talk about dedication!

And then, the big day arrived. The energy in the air was electric as the lights dimmed and the show began in Axiata Arena. To our delight, Dua kicked things off with “Training Season,” Le Monsieur’s all-time favorite. From there, it was a non-stop party. We sang (okay, screamed) along to bangers like “One Kiss,” “End Of An Era,” “Levitating,” and “Love Again.” And when she performed my favorite tracks, “These Walls” and “Houdini,” I was over the moon!

For those who haven’t seen Dua live—she’s phenomenal. Her voice is flawless, her energy infectious, and let’s not forget, she looked absolutely stunning that night. The encores were the cherry on top, with the entire stadium on their feet, dancing and singing their hearts out. No one wanted the night to end.

As the night wrapped up and the stadium lights came back on, Le Monsieur and I just sat there for a moment, soaking it all in. It wasn’t just a concert; it felt like a celebration of music, joy, and everything we’d been missing over the past year. On the drive home, we couldn’t stop replaying every moment, talking about our favorite parts, and humming the songs that were still stuck in our heads. It’s not often you leave an event feeling so fulfilled, but Dua delivered that and more.

If you ever get the chance to see Dua Lipa live, take it. Trust me, you won’t regret it. The memories will last a lifetime, and who knows—you might even win tickets like we did. 😉
